CONFERENCE THEME

Beyond the bubble

Going ‘beyond the bubble' is essential in today's interconnected and rapidly changing world.

By embracing diverse perspectives, engaging with different communities, and challenging our own assumptions, we can develop a more holistic and inclusive understanding of the world. This approach not only enhances personal and professional growth but also contributes to more effective problem-solving and a more just and equitable society

Transforming

Embracing ethical use of AI, new technologies, adaptive leadership, innovation, and learning.

Foundations

Paying attention to world views, values, theories, methodologies, tools and techniques of evaluation and where we have come from.

Connecting

Fostering networks, democratisation and citizen engagement, participatory and people-centred approaches, Indigenist evaluation, systems thinking, place and ecosystems.

Cultivating

Growing the profession, building capacity and awareness of evaluation, and knowledge translation.

It was good to be immersed in all things evaluation for a few days, and to have the chance to reconnect with people.
